2-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha, meet your guide and embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive southwest. This park is renowned for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the golden savannah, spotting lions, giraffes, and zebras. After a picnic lunch by the Tarangire River, continue exploring before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater & Departure
Early in the morning, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the world’s largest unbroken caldera, a haven for an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a morning game drive, spotting rhinos, hippos, and flamingos around Lake Magadi. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your departure or continue with your next adventure in Tanzania.
